In an HA active passive environment, when the passive link state is set to auto, the SFP ports' link LEDs do not glow when a cable is plugged into them. The SFP link LED only glows for the device that is active.

The 10.66.18.56 and 10.66.18.57 are devices in an HA active passive setup and the passive link state is set to auto.

The SFP modules are plugged into ethernet1/22 on each device.

This is what you see in the GUI when the 10.66.18.56 device is active and 10.66.18.57 is passive:

This is expected behavior. The SFP ports in the HA environment do not behave the same way as the RJ-45 ports.
