DHCP Option Configuration

L0 Member

I'm looking for some assistance setting up option 160 on the DHCP scope for a #Cloudgenix site. I'm attempting to follow the guide provided by PA, but it isn't very clear. The goal is to have the option pass along a URL for VoIP phones, but I'm currently getting an error that says Custom option value is not supported". Below is the config I'm using. Thank you!

option phone-server-address code 160 = ip-address option phone-server-address [URL]

Firewall accepts option 160 fine.

I'm trying to do this in the Cloudgenix/Prisma SD-WAN environment, though, not the firewall.

Hello @GBowman

I am not using Prisma SD-WAN, therefore can't do a test with actual equipment, however by looking into documentation: Configure a DHCP Server it looks like that to pass URL as an option the type should be a text. You configured type IP address with a string for URL as option which is probably not compatible. Could you refer to screen shot in the documentation link under: "Create & Exit to complete the DHCP Server configuration" ?

Kind Regards

Pavel
