Hello @Retired Member

Hope you are doin great,

It is normal for there to be a delay between the time you purchase a license and the time it is activated on your firewall.

The activation process typically takes a few minutes, but it can take longer depending on various factors.

If it has been more than an hour and your license has not been activated, it is possible that there may be an issue with the activation process.

In order to troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:

Check the status of the activation process by going to Device > Licenses in the web-based interface of the firewall. If the activation is still in progress, you should see a message indicating that the license is being activated.

Check the system logs for any error messages that might provide more information about the issue. You can find the logs under Monitor > Logs in the web-based interface.

If you are using a trial license, make sure that it has not expired. You can check the expiration date of the trial license by going to Device > Licenses in the web-based interface.

If you are using a purchased license, make sure that you have entered the correct license key. You can find the license key in the email you received when you purchased the license.

If none of the above steps help, you may need to get in touch with Palo Alto Networks support for further assistance.

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks and Regards,
Sharan Selva
Product Specialist
Palo Alto Networks

It has been almost a week, and when I speak with support they refer back to the live community.

I don't see any AIOps licenses on the firewall license page, but the support portal says it has one.

To be honest we could just completely delete the instance and start fresh or something

I sent the instance IDs, and per your proir comments:

Check the status of the activation process by going to Device > Licenses in the web-based interface of the firewall. If the activation is still in progress, you should see a message indicating that the license is being activated.

The link from the license activation email says processing and has for about 2 weeks.

Check the system logs for any error messages that might provide more information about the issue. You can find the logs under Monitor > Logs in the web-based interface.

nothing in logs

If you are using a trial license, make sure that it has not expired. You can check the expiration date of the trial license by going to Device > Licenses in the web-based interface.

n/a all premium

If you are using a purchased license, make sure that you have entered the correct license key. You can find the license key in the email you received when you purchased the license.

Licenses are correct, they all show active aiops subs, but not in the premium instance

Sadly I have had a ticket open with support for as long as this one.
