Cortex XDR disabling itself

Hello, in our environment there are users across multiple departments reporting that Cortex XDR RTP periodically stops itself due to an "adaptive policy", causing them to fail hipchecks and have their network access restricted. These users are primarily on mac devices and are on version 7.9.0. Is anyone else seeing this type of activity?

Hi @cwoody,

I am currently unaware of any widespread issue affecting Mac Devices or Cortex XDR Agent 7.9.0. Because there is no known widespread issue my only suggestion to you would be to submit a case to our Customer Support center ASAP. In the future I'd recommend creating a support case for break/fix issues or any issues that need to be handled in timely manner.

We have started to see this on a few macs, the cortex protection status will change a few times a day causing the failure in HIP checks.
