Cortex agent Upgradation

Hi Team,

This is regarding Cortex agent upgradation, some of the endpoints having agent version (7.8.1.11342) agent life going to end this month. we tried to upgrade manually but it does not work.

can cortex agent itself upgrade automatically without manually interception?

Yes, Cortex XDR supports agent auto upgrade. To do you will need to configure global agent settings by going into Endpoints-->Policy Management --> Profiles --> Add profile --> Choose Platform -->Agent Settings.

There you will find the option to enable Auto Upgrade for all agents. You will also be required to select the auto upgrade scope and rollout.

After enabling Auto Upgrade, you can also head to the Global Agent Settings and control the automatic upgrade process. You can choose:

Amount of Parallel Upgrades—Set the number of parallel agent upgrades, while the maximum is 500 agents.
Days in week—You can schedule the upgrade task for specific days of the week and a specific time range. The minimum range is four hours.
