Hi Team,

Could you please share the differences between the new image for the Broker VM (Ubuntu 20.04) and the old Broker VM (OS version, 18.04)?

Kindly provide a list of the features for this Broker VM (Ubuntu 20.04) version.

Hi Vinothkumar_SBA,

Ubuntu 18.04 end of life reached on May 31, 2023. Therefore, upgrading to Ubuntu 20.04 is to a supported version which comes with improvements. A notable difference between the two is that there is no 32-bit system for Ubuntu 20.04. Please reference Ubuntu release notes for specifics https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases and questions.

Please note that when installing the new Broker version, Ubuntu 20.04, you have the option to apply the old Broker configuration on the new broker. The option to import the old config has been added for this purpose.

Could you please provide a list of features for the New image of Broker VM (Ubuntu 20.04) version? Are there any special features documented in Palo Alto documents for this New image for the Broker VM?

For enhancement in new BVM you may refer to our release notes here.

Additionally, aside to new features and enhancements couple of BVM maintenance releases has been released for known issue fixes which can be referred here.
