I can confirm this issue too, the Pairing code is being shown on the Apple TV, but the connection times out. No alerts or any note-worthy are being generated.

We’ve noticed that with Cortex XDR installed on a MacBook running macOS Sequoia 15.2, AirPlay functionality no longer works for presentations. When attempting to connect to Apple TV via AirPlay, the connection times out. The native macOS firewall is enabled. However, when Cortex XDR is not installed, the issue does not occur.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Thanks in advance for your insights!

Hi @edwinmaas, thanks for reaching us using the Live Community.

Is any alert being triggered in the XDR console? Are you applying any device control profile? Maybe the Airplay feature is detected as a device by the XDR agent, and an exception can be created.
