High Memory usage of Cortex Agent

Hi Team,

Currently we are currently using XSIAM Agent v8.4, and it is consuming 300+mb of memory. How can we minimize its memory usage?

Hi M.Arevalo,

The Cortex XDR Agent requires a fair amount of system resources to provide protection, 300 MB is not considered high for the XDR Agent. The resource requirements generally start around 250 MB and 3-4% CPU and will scale linearly from there based on system load.

We have XSIAM Agent v8.6 on a server, and it is consuming 690+mb of memory. Any suggestions?
