Hi @lulu42,

Every incident coming into XSOAR will get an incident type assigned. Incident type can be changed by playbooks or manually.

If you enable incident mirroring for the XDR integration any updates to the incident will be synced to the existing incident. Incident mirroring is not processed via the classifier. It only uses the mapper and you cannot change the incident type via the mapper.

Please note that depending on how you configured your mapper, changing the incident type will change the field synced during mirroring.

Hello,

When an incident comes to XSOAR the classifier set the incident type.

I would like to know if the incident is updated with new alerts (for ex. in Cortex XDR), will the incident type in XSOAR be updated if needed or is the type set and never change (like the incident name)?

When an incident is updated does the entire process runs again (classifier, mapping...)?

Thank you
