topic Using Incident Variables Within Data Collection Web Form in Cortex XSOAR Discussions

Hello, I am attempting to use variables such as ${incident.name} within the Web Form in the section called "Short Description". After conducting tests I can see that It wont render any variables. They just appear as above. Now I can see that it supports Markdown, is there a way to display incident information in this section?

The Use Case at hand would require incident data to be included here that is relevant and necessary for multiple questions without referring back to the email that contains the link to the form.

While the short description supports markdown, it does not support the use of variables. Instead, you could use the variables within the questions themselves to present the relevant information. If needed, you could utilize the first question to display all the variable information you need with the answer to that question being a single select to confirm the user read it over. You can also go to https://xsoar.ideas.aha.io/ to submit your idea to allow variables in the short description field. Thanks!
