Hi everyone,

I would like to ask is it possible to permanently delete the downloaded file in War Room? My team wants to make use of the Jobs function in XSOAR to handle files, and the file should be deleted in XSOAR after handling it.

Thanks,

Eliza

Hi,
Currently it is only possible to permanently delete files that were uploaded manually by you in the war-room,
please submit a feature request for it.
As a workaround you can use the RemoteAccess (SSH) integration to connect to the XSOAR server's OS and have a job that will retrieve the file details from the server, and remove files older than X days,
it is possible but it may require some scripting,
thanks.

You can delete an incident to delete all files inside that incident. So, you can create a child incident just to download the file, handle the file, copy the result over to the main incident and then delete child incident.
