Internet connection required? Or DNS issue?

Does expedition requires an internet connection to work?

if not, does changing the DNS server break the install?

long story short I installed it on a laptop with internet then moved it to an air-gapped environment but it breaks and I cannot login with admin/paloalto after doing so and changing the dns server in /etc/netplan

Hi @Lenniusce No internet connection is needed after installation , if you change the host name of expedition to a new host name, it might impact your login, please check below steps :

1. Review error.log and access.log from /var/log/apache2/

2. Execute below commands to check all required services are running:

service apache2 status
service mysql status
php --version (#needs to be in v7.0)
ping expedition name or ip
ping localhost

3. Review if there is proxy setting in the browser that might cause errors

I’ve noticed it attempts a tsl1.3 connections to a 151.x.x.x address in San Fran at “Fastly, inc”?

@Lenniusce Expedition can work offline after a successful installation.
