Can not log into Expedition

I have a new installation of Expedition and I am unable to login. When I use the default username and password and hit accept the terms the authentication window just spins saying please wait. Anyone have any ideas on what the issue could be?

Also please check your php version is 7.0.x , that's the only version Expedition support

I am unable to install php7.0.

When trying to run the following commands I get an "error"

$ sudo apt install software-properties-common
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ondrej/php
$ Cannot add PPA: 'ppa:~ondrej/ubuntu/php'.
$ ERROR: '~Ondrej' user or team does not exist.

Then it might be quicker to rebuild the ubuntu 20.x

I am having the same issue, stuck at authentication.

How to install php-7.0? Unable to install it as per the screenshot.
