topic GP - Split tunnel is working like full tunnel in GlobalProtect Discussions

Hello All!

I configured the GP to be a split tunnel. When I connect, I can access internal resources, but no Internet access. Normally, a default GW gets assigned of 0.0.0.0 on the PAN adapter I thought. There's no GW. External traffic is trying to route via the Internal's ISP and not it's own.

Hi @DJ_Palo ,

What do you mean by Internal ISP? Do you mean Local internet?

Additionally I would ask you to do few things given below -

1. Try to do traceroute to any public IP and verify path

2. Check if public URLs are resolving IP addresses when connected to VPN

3. Check if any proxy is being configured automatically under browser post connecting to VPN.

Hi @SutareMayur ,

Correct, local Internet does not working once connected. I can see all traffic trying to go through the office location's Internet in the logs.

1. Try to do traceroute to any public IP and verify path

This fails, it just times out

nslookup fails as well, but I can see the PAN adapter assigned its DNS address 8.8.8.8,1.1.1.1

2. Check if public URLs are resolving IP addresses when connected to VPN

Does not resolve

3. Check if any proxy is being configured automatically under browser post connecting to VPN.

I didn't see any
