topic Restricting the Emergence of Security Threats Act making VPN illegal in GlobalProtect Discussions

Hello,

There is a lot of discussion about the recent bill "Restricting the Emergence of Security Threats" (RESTRICT) introduced in the US.

My customer is using Sonicwall VPN to access corporate applications. He is concerned that the recent bill (if and when passed) will make it illegal for his company to use VPN to access corporate applications.

I believe Prisma Access and Global Protect can address this pain point from a compliance perspective because Palo Alto has all of the necessary certifications to offer security solutions in the US and abroad. However, I am not clear what will the technical solution look like from a design perspective. For example, is there any technical setup in Prisma Access / Global Protect to safely use the solution to access their corporate application in the Public or Private cloud?

Appreciate if anyone can offer guidance. Thank you.
