Global Protect agent background is invisible on some external displays

We've recently gotten reports of two different Macbook Pros running Sonoma with external displays where the GP agent background is invisible / transparent. The app seems to be working fine, but on certain external displays, it's difficult to use because it's transparent. Also the menubar globe icon itself is invisible on one system. Screenshot attached.

For one user, on a macbook with 2 external displays, it's fine on the built-in and one external, invisible on the other display.

For another user, it's invisible on one display (at home), normal on a different display (at work).

Common bond so far is Sonoma.

Anybody seen anything like this?

I am currently running Sonoma 14.4.1 and have two 4k external displays with no issues.
