We are facing an issue sometimes the global protect gets stuck on connecting loop while we connect to the global protect it redirects to the default browser for authentication and shows authentication successfull but global protect gets stuck on the connecting loop and it does not connect only showing retrieving config from the portal.

But sometimes it gets connected instantly we have opened a case as well for the same he is not able to find anything as of now.

Global protect app is set to connection method "always on" tac suggested to discheck "redirect to default browser"

We are using SAML to authenticate on prisma sase

is there a reason for you to use the default browser?

I'd also recommend using the embedded browser 😉
