GlobalProtect Split tunneling(Exclude) support on Chrome OS

Hello everyone,

The split tunneling exclusion setting does not work with the GlobalProtect app installed on my Chromebook.

Is this exclusion setting not supported on Chrome OS?

The environment I am using is as follows:

-GlobalProtect app: Play Store app
-GlobalProtect version: 6.1.5-720
-Client OS version: Google ChromeOS 132.0.6834.94

I am using the IPV4 route and ran traceroute (tracepath command) from my Chromebook.

As a result, I was able to confirm that the exclusion route was not working because the traffic log showed that it was going through the firewall.

The following document explains that it is not possible to exclude the access route of an endpoint running Android on a Chromebook.

I would like to know if the above explanation applies when using the Play Store app on ChromeOS.

The same limitation does apply as the Play Store version of GlobalProtect is essentially an Android app running on ChromeOS.
