Clientless VPN to auto launch app

I have just found topic in knowledgebase regarding auto launching application for globalprotect clientless access - if there is just one app and URL bar checkbox is disabled.

Is is still valid? Does anyone uses that?

I've just tried to reproduce in my lab, but either way, even 1 app is enabled, checbkox is disabled user is hitting portal page instead of app directly.

Hi @MarcinJ ,

Which Pan-os version are you running? If only one app is configured and the URL bar checkbox is disabled, the user should be redirected directly to the app instead of seeing the portal page.

I have tried on 11.0.1 multiple hx version.

Hi @MarcinJ

I have the same issue with 10.2.13h5, I upgraded to this version to fix something else and now open a new issue.

On my end I'm using Clientless App Groups and still it open automatically the first app listed in the group, I tried to disable and enable the "Display application URL address bar" option but still the same issue.

The only resolution was to list all the application and stop using App Groups.
