Hi @jefferyshall ,

Sounds like you might be running into a cosmetic issue for globalprotect.

Can you confirm this is a GUI issue but does not impact GP's core functionality ?

Can you confirm you are running the latest recommended GP version ?

If the issue persists you might want to reach out to support for analysis.

Kind regards,

When Global Protect is running it should show a short bar underneath the Icon, but it doesn't. When I click the Icon to show the small Global Protect window it does get the longer "window that has current focus" bar, which is correct, but as soon as that little window is hidden the bar goes away completely, but since it is running it should show the short bar.

I ... have never seen anyone pin PanGPA nor ever put any thought into how that would function.

So what you're doing is actually pinning PanGPA.exe, but that isn't what is actually normally running because GlobalProtect runs as a service (PanGPS). PanGPA is only "running" when you click on the icon, you'll notice it will actually close if you go into Settings because that is drawn by the service itself. So what you have recorded is expected behavior, it is properly reflecting when the executable itself is actually running.
