Thanks Edmar for the hint, for me self-signed certificate was a root cause, so I created new root CA certificate and then new certificate for GP signed by root. Downloaded root certificate to my Mac OS 15.6 and everything started to work as expected.

Hi all,

I’m currently experiencing issues with GlobalProtect version 6.2.6-838 on a particular version of macOS. Interestingly, the same version of GlobalProtect works perfectly fine on macOS Sonoma, so the problem appears to be OS-specific—potentially related to Apple system settings or extensions.

When attempting to connect, I receive the following error:
'The network connection is unreachable or the portal is unresponsive. Check the network connection and reconnect'.

If you’re aware of any troubleshooting steps, or a more recent GlobalProtect release that resolves this, I’d greatly appreciate the guidance.

Thanks in advance!

I had seen issues with Enforcement enabled. Disabling seems to work for me on MacOS15.5 until a fix is released I guess.

How do you do this please? The method I followed didn't seem to change anything. I went into recovery mode and disabled enforcement through Terminal.

If so, I found this article that suggests creating a server cert (aside from the root) to use for the GP connection.
https://www.reddit.com/r/paloaltonetworks/comments/1kb90uj/macos_1541_update_breaks_globalprotect/
