@JimMcGrady,

Windows and sleeping clients have been weird for quite a while due to modern standby, but you're also running into GPC-17854 which is a known issue on 6.2. You kind of have a couple of solutions that you could attempt:

Increase the login lifetime to an extended duration. Generally outside of BYOD devices I will set this to an extended number of days, not hours.

Inform people that they should not be sleeping their computers and that this is going to cause them issues. This doesn't change anything that you're doing and you don't need to make any changes, but it is the least user friendly modification. If these aren't issued devices however, this is what I would do.

You could attempt to test a couple clients on 6.3 where this issue is only noted for Linux agents.

GP Login Lifetime?

Running GP clients 6.2.8-c263. The gateway was recently updated from 10.1.14 to 11.1.10h10. Users are reporting seeing a "GP session limit. your session will close in 30 minutes" message. We have session lifetime set to 16 hours. Its common for our Windows users to sleep there machines and then just continue working. In the past, the PC reauthenticates as it comes out of sleep.

Has the GP definition of what constitutes a relogin changed in 11.1?
