topic Enable user context cloud service in IoT Security Discussions

Hi team, today I was trying to enable a simple checkbox in my firewall in Device - Setup - PANOS Edge Service Settings - Enable user context cloud service, but when I enable it and try to click on OK nothing happens. I think that it could be because I need specific licensing in order to enable that. Could you tell if that's correct and if that's correct which licensing type do I need?

Thanks!!!!

Hello @A.Alquicer

thanks for posting!

That setting is related to Cloud Identity Engine (CIE). To my knowledge there is no extra license requirement on Firewall side, however you should have a device certificate installed in the Firewall and CIE enabled: Cloud Identity Engine User Context prior to enabling it on Firewall side.

Kind Regards

Pavel
