topic PA-820 Interface configured but down in Next-Generation Firewall Discussions

As the title states. I have an interface on PA-820 that shows "configured but down".

This is really silly but I know the interface was "switched off" by another network admin. Under Advance --> LinkState is set to Auto already.
There is some other setting that put the interface in a non-workable state which I just cannot find it.

Hello @ITBrute

to me it looks like the cable is disconnected. Have you verified that cable is connected and device on the other side is powered on?

Kind Regards

Hello @ITBrute

this is expected. The interface is enabled, but nothing is connected, therefore marked as down (red). After you connected cable, it should come online (green) unless there is connectivity issue. The only scenario other then these two is gray where interface is set to default KB.

Kind Regards
