I need to upgrade PA 440 from the software version 10.1.6-h6 to version 10.2.8 can you please provide me the plan.

Hello,

Recommended to update to the latest preferred release of the current version the move onto the new version. Latest preferred release of 10.1 is 10.1.12

Official recommended path would be:

1. Update to latest apps and threats content package

2. Download and install 10.1.12

3. Reboot Firewall

4. Download 10.2.0

5. Download and install 10.2.8

6. Reboot firewall

You could probably skip steps 2 & 3 as I've gone from 10.1.6-h6 to 10.2.6 directly with no issues, but the above would be the safest route to avoid encountering bugs.
