Hi Team,

We want to migrate the Checkpoint firewall with Palo Alto NextGen Firewall using Expedition Tool. I've gone through couple of forums also few of them listed on this community as well but I don't get more appropriate way to do this migration. Can someone please provide a documentation or way to do this migration that works just perfect?

Br,

Hi Vijatihape, As I know there is no specific guide for that. After following migrate steps on Expedition. You may see duplicate rules or invalid objects errors. You can fix every error with couple click. Expedition is very handy tool for multiple changes.

For migrating from Checkpoint, you should be focus user base, NAT and scheduled rules. In my opinion, migrate network and device from set file and load rules and object with partially load option.

https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/pan-os/10-2/pan-os-cli-quick-start/use-the-cli/load-configurations/load-a-partial-configuration
