I was wondering if anyone had any interest or thoughts, but I am tired of always having to build rules for popular products that are not well-documented. I was thinking of starting a forum to share these common configurations so we all don't have to reinvent the wheel?

Not exactly sure of the all the details, but I took this straight out of PA Strata Logging Service, and it would be nice to have the ability to jus export and import (or close it) into Panorama/NGFW:

Thoughts?

Maybe an app, it initially I was just thinking a website even. Somewhere where a user could search say NetApp and pull the firewall rules. Initially in PA format, but Cisco, Fortinet etc. would be nice too. It could also expand the number of EDLs

Hello,

No worries on tagging me. Yeah I think that could help out. i.e. here is a policy that allows the Palo Alto to get its dynamic updates etc.

Exactly, cookie cutter stuff. PA, Azure, GCP and AWS are pretty well documented, but others are not, and I am going to safely assume we all use a lot of "others", and probably many of the same
