Hello,

Normally we use the following commands to check an SFP by Palo Alto Certified or not.

how system state filter sys.s1.p19.phy

sys.s1.p19.phy: { 'link-partner': { }, 'media': SFP-Plus-Fiber, 'sfp': { 'connector':
LC, 'encoding': Reserved, 'identifier': SFP, 'transceiver': 10000B-SR, 'vendor-name':
OEM , 'vendor-part-number': PAN-SFP-PLUS-SR , 'vendor-part-rev': B4 , }, 'type':
Ethernet, }

show transceiver-detail ethernet2/23
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Detailed Transceiver Information
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Interface: ethernet2/23
Vendor Name: OEM
Vendor Part Number: PAN-SFP-PLUS-SR Rev B4

I know we have here the PDF that shows Palo Alto Supported SFPs. Please do not share with me the same info.https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/operations-documentation/hw-accessory-cross-reference-810-000077-0be-updated-on-01-30/ta-p/63422?attachment-id=13384

Here are my questions:

What does it mean when the Vendor is listed as "OEM" and the Vendor Part Number shows as "SFP-10G-SR-PA" (starting with "SFP" instead of "PAN")? Does this indicate whether the SFP is Palo Alto certified or supported?

If the SFP is Palo Alto supported, what should the Vendor and Vendor Part Number display?

If the Vendor Part Number does not begin with "PAN," does that mean it is not supported by Palo Alto?

Is there a difference between Palo Alto certified and Palo Alto supported SFPs?

Thanks in advance
