Hi Punite,

Hi @Punite

Yes, you are right if the traffic was reverse, it would pull the class from the profile applied to the interface facing the 192.168.100.1

Refer the below doc for more details.

QoS Policy Class Selection

Hello, I have a question regarding QoS policies,

When you create a QoS policy, you don't have the option to select a QoS profile, you can only select a class.

My understanding is that the class pulled will be the one from the profile applied to the egress interface.

For example if I have a rule like this:

Source 192.168.100.1 Destination 192.168.200.2 - Apply class 7

The class 7 will be pulled from the profile on the interface pointing to 192.168.200.2

And if the traffic was reverse, it would pull the class from the profile applied to the interface facing the 192.168.100.1 IP.

Would this be accurate?
