topic Guidance on Getting Started with Enterprise DLP Testing for PII/PHI Protection in Next-Generation Firewall Discussions

We recently deployed a Palo Alto Networks firewall and, as part of the implementation, received 200 Prisma Access licenses. I also requested an Enterprise DLP license for evaluation/testing, which has now been activated.

Currently, we have access to the following components:

Strata Cloud Manager

Strata Logging Service

Enterprise DLP

Data Security

For the initial test setup, I have created a dedicated test directory and test user. I have also created the required profile and installed the GlobalProtect agent on the test endpoint.

Our primary use case is to test Enterprise DLP controls for preventing PII/PHI data from being exfiltrated outside the organization, for example through web uploads or other external destinations.

Could you please advise on the recommended configuration and testing approach to get started? Specifically, I would like to understand how to configure the DLP policy/profile, apply it to the test user, and validate that PII/PHI data is correctly detected, logged, and blocked.

FYI, completely new to Palo Alto Platform
