Need a fast boot time firewall

How fast would a PA-400 boot? I am looking for something that can boot quickly. I currently have a FW that takes about 25minutes to boot (highly doubt that is normal).

Hello, yes, this is normal.

Based on my experience according to each equipment my approximate boot times that I have detected.

PA-220: 15 to 30 minutes
PA-440: 15 to 25 minutes
PA-850: 15 to 20 minutes
PA-3220: 5 to 12 minutes
PA-5050: 5 to 8 minutes
PA-5220: 4 to 5 minutes
PA-5250: 4 to 5 minutes

These are approximate reference values, not that I have taken a stopwatch, but it is the estimated measurement, based on some reboots and/or upgrades, maintenance, etc.

Ouch, I was looking at some of these for an upgrade, really? Is that for an OS upgrade reboot (which I'd expect), or is it really 15+min for a power-off cold boot of an already configured firewall? That seems like an extremely long time to wait for a site coming back from a power outage.

Yes, where it is more evident are the PA-220.

But of course the times I state are for reboots, reboots for upgrades, power failures, etc.

They are subjective times, not timed, i.e. approximate times.
