Hello @MaratP

thank you for post!

I believe what you are experiencing is expected. In Panorama "Shared" Device Group is available in drop down list only under: Device Groups > POLICIES. Under Device Groups > OBJECTS, whether an object is shared or belongs to specific Device Group depends on the column called LOCATION. If you create an object and select a check box "Shared" it it going to be available to all Device Groups. If you do not select it, the object you are creating belongs to specific Device Group. Here is a reference in documentation: Create Objects for Use in Shared or Device Group Policy.

Kind Regards

Hi all,

I've run into something confusing in Panorama and wanted to check if this is expected behavior or a bug on my end.

When I go to the Policies tab, I can select Device Group: Shared from the dropdown without any issue.

However, when I switch to the Objects tab and open the Device Group selector there, "Shared" is not listed at all — I can't select it.

Has anyone else seen this? Is this intentional (e.g., some object types not being manageable at the Shared level from Objects), or is there a permission/role setting I might be missing?

Panorama version: 11.1

Thanks in advance!
