Please tell me about the maximum number of sites that each Remote Network SPN can accommodate.

Hello Team,

My understanding is as follows:
- If a compute location is assigned a bandwidth of 501Mbps or more in the RN settings, up to 500 sites can be supported per SPN.
- Bandwidth is automatically configured based on the usage of each location.

For example, if a compute location is assigned 1200Mbps, two SPNs will be onboarded.

If the usage of those SPNs is uneven and one SPN only has 200Mbps, will that SPN also support up to 500 sites?

I don't think this is realistic from a design perspective, but I'm curious about the specifications, so
if anyone knows, please let me know.

Hi y.saitou,

On RN-SPN, you can have either 1g of bandwidth or 500 tunnel. First limit reached result in creation of a second RN-SPN.

I understand that when more than 1Gbps of bandwidth is assigned to a compute location, or when 500 sites are connected, a second RN-SPN will be launched.

I am currently investigating the number of sites that can be connected to each RN-SPN.
What remains unclear is how many sites can be connected to the second and subsequent RN-SPNs.
According to Techdocs, when more than 500Mbps of bandwidth is allocated to a compute location, up to 500 sites are supported.
Based on this, is it correct to assume that if more than 500Mbps of bandwidth is assigned to a compute location, each additional RN-SPN will also support up to 500 sites?
