Really slow load times for webpages using fonts.googleapis.com on my remote networks

Hi all

Im having issues on all my remote networks when loading some websites.

Most of them if I open Chrome's developer tools I see the following error

GET

https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans:300,300i,400,400i,600,600i,700,700i net::

ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Issue is the same using Edge

If I set up a business policy on my remote network router to sent fonts.googleapis.com traffic directly to the internet instead of sending it to Prisma the issue disappears.

I've narrow the issue to my remote locations , my mobile users don't have the issue

I've check logs on Panorama and Strata logging service and I don't find any block log for fonts.googleapis.com

Any clue?

As per my understanding, it is a traffic related issue.

So I would suggest opening up a TAC case so the TAC team will provide you with better visibility about the issue.

as of now, it looks like a routing or policy issue but it needs investigation from TAC.
