Hi Dears,

Currently I'm facing issue with multiple ION 1200s that when connecting to port 1 its blinking physically but its shows down on GUI and CLI but if I change from port 1 to 3 its working normally with the same cable.

Also already change the device with new one on some branch but im facing same issue with the new device also.

any solutions?

Hello @Panda_Network
In this scenario, the issue may be related to the interface being administratively disabled rather than a physical or cable problem, especially since the same cable works normally on port 3 and the behavior is seen even after replacing the device. Sometimes the port needs to be explicitly enabled for it to come up. You can verify and enable the interface by using the command
config interface <interface name> enabled=True
, and then recheck the port status on both the GUI and CLI to confirm whether it transitions to an up state.
Thank you!
