Console cable coming with ION 1200S

The console cable (the flat black one) that comes with the ION 1200S seems to be pinned out differently, do we need a specific driver to make it work

Device manager said it is working properly but the terminal is just blank and not responding.

Tried another an old Cisco console cable and it works, so problem is not with the console port, likely the cable or driver.

Hi,

All the flat black console cables supplied with IONs have incorrect pin outs apparently.

Contact your AM or SE to resolve, they should issue you with new cables that are a light blue color.
