Overview

Strata Cloud Manager now organizes Security Posture Settings under the Unified Incident Framework (UIF) to deliver a unified and contextual incident management experience.

Key Changes at a Glance

What moved? The page for configuring and managing custom Security Posture checks.
Old Location: Configuration > Posture > Settings
New Location (UIF): Incidents > Settings

This update aligns all posture-related rules and custom checks with incident workflows, enabling easier correlation between configuration issues and the incidents they generate.

Security Posture Settings were previously accessible at:

Configuration → Posture → Settings

Where Is It Now?

Security Posture Settings have moved under Incidents → Settings.

Filter with Product: Posture and manage Custom or Default Settings

For example, if you are interested in Security Policy checks, you can find it by following these steps:

Navigate to Incidents in Strata Cloud Manager.
Open the Settings tab.
In the Incident Code filter, type the related feature name — e.g., security_policy.
Select the corresponding Setting Name to view all posture checks tied to that incident code.
Scroll down to see the Checks.
Enable/Disable checks as needed, set the action for the checks to alert/block or clone default checks.
To create a custom check click on + Add Custom Check

Who will Not Be Migrated?

Tenants that have Security Check Exceptions configured in Strata Cloud Manager will not be migrated immediately to the Unified Incident Framework (UIF).
