Hey Everyone:

I just wanted to share a PowerShell script which has been working well for us. We recently setup a BYOD network which requires users to authenticate to a Microsoft NPS server via 802.1x. We didn't want to use Captive portal so I setup this script. This script monitors the accounting logs and pulls the userID information and sends it over to our PAN box. It's been working like a charm for the past 4 days. It's great to be able to have that visibility into the BYOD network too.

https://github.com/dcumbow/nps-to-pan-userid

Cheers!

Hi David,

I've followed your step but my task doesn't run automatically. I have to copy userIDfile content and paste to API user-id XML page then I can get the username and IP on my PA Monitor->User-ID.
