Hi Folks,

I am working a IaC project and I ran into an issue coding the TACACS profile creation and creating an authentication profile using the TACACS profile as the server profile.

As you may be aware, the paloaltonetworks.panos galaxy does not have modules for the TACACS server profile creation and Authentication profile creation.

So I used the panos_type_cmd module to just push the xml template to create those profiles.

The profiles are getting created when I execute the code, however, they are not showing up when I create a new user account. As if the configuration is in place, but the profiles are not active.

Is it just me or anybody else you faced the same issue?

Is there a work around for this?

Just FYI, I am executing this on lab environment, so my PANOS instances are not licensed. Not sure if that could be the reason for the issue. But by far this is the only configuration that's not working properly.

Thanks in advance!
