    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Maybe useful if you can post the api call you are using.&amp;nbsp; I haven't done this before but I am sure the action override is only used when you are overriding template values pushed from panorama (which maybe why you mentioned you are not using panorama).&amp;nbsp; Sorry if I am teaching you to suck eggs but I have found when doing API work I use the command "debug cli on" and then try and create the application in the cli.&amp;nbsp; The cli will output the api call required to repeat that cli process.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm trying to deploy custom signatures using the XML API which gives me the following error:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;lt;response status="error" code="12"&amp;gt;&amp;lt;msg&amp;gt;&amp;lt;line&amp;gt;Object cannot be overridden&amp;lt;/line&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/msg&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/response&amp;gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This was after I was trying to use &lt;STRONG&gt;action=set&lt;/STRONG&gt; which gave the error below which, as specified in the documentation suggested to use &lt;STRONG&gt;action=override&lt;/STRONG&gt;, this resulted in the error above.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;lt;response status="error" code="13"&amp;gt;&amp;lt;msg&amp;gt;&amp;lt;line&amp;gt;set failed, may need to override template object first&amp;lt;/line&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/msg&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/response&amp;gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This problem exist on 5.x as well as 6.x. There is no Panorama involved with the firewall. Have anyone run into this issue before, and have a solution?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
