To uphold the integrity and long-term value of your certification, we're making an important update to our exam delivery method.

After careful consideration and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards for our program, we've decided to transition to exclusively in-person exam administration. This shift allows us to provide the most secure and reliable testing environment, further strengthening the credibility of your certification in the industry.

This change helps us to maintain a consistent and fair experience for all test-takers, reinforcing the value of your achievement. Effective August 1, 2025, all Palo Alto Networks certification exams will be administered exclusively at in-person Pearson VUE test centers.

We are proud to partner with Pearson VUE, which offers the world's largest and most secure network of testing centers. This partnership ensures you'll have convenient access to a professional and controlled environment for your exam.

What you need to know:

Remote exam appointments will no longer be available after July 31st.
Online exams scheduled for after August 1, 2025, will proceed as planned; however, please note that existing online exam appointments on or after this date cannot be rescheduled. If you need to change your appointment, you will need to cancel and register for an in-person exam at a Pearson VUE test center.

In my opinion, this was a terrible decision. In addition to losing the facilities of testing from home, we are subject to any type of problem that a city's living environment can have.

This was a bad decision for many. I know that OnVue was far from ideal but doing exams on-site has many disadvantages as mentioned before. It was always trouble doing online exams but I still preferred it always. I better had the trouble than having to schedule on-site appointments.

Unfortunately this means I will stop my re-certification after being PCNSE for 6 years.

I really hope PA will re-think this decision - while I fear they won't.
