Highly unlikely that you are seeing the wrong IP in the logs, but whoever setup the other side of the tunnel could have misconfigured things and is sending you traffic from two different sources. I would reach out to whoever configured the other side and make sure they didn't screw up the configuration and that they don't have two configs for you (one working and one not).

IKE Error

In my system logs I'm seeing the following error:

"IKE phase 1 negotiation is failed. Couldn’t find configuration for IKE phase-1 request for peer IP x.x.x.226[500]."

The bizarre thing is that the tunnel IS working despite this error!!!

The reason for the error appears to be that the IP address listed "x.x.x.226" is the wrong IP address! It should "be x.x.x.228"! I can't figure out where to go to change it! The IKE Gateway definitely has the RIGHT IP address.

Any ideas where in the configs I should go to change this wrong IP address/error showing up in the logs?

That was it! The guy on the other end had a misconfiguration and I was receiving unwanted traffic from a 2nd address. Thank you!!
