Palo alto application for practice.

Hi guys,

I am studying currently for PCNSE certification. What palo alto application I should download if I want to practice? I am using an apple computer. I would appreciated if someone can send me a link about it. Thanks in advance

Once in, search for 'pcnse' and you'll get some results for including a 'study guide' and 'exam practice questions'. All of these are done through your browser.

If you are looking for hands-on your best option is a VM-series firewall with a lab license if you can buy one. You have several hypervisors to choose from (hyper-v, esx, kvm, etc).

Kindly note though that PCNSE also contains questions about Panorama which is another purchase if you want to hands-on study it.

Thank you for your replay. That meant there is nothing someone can have to have hands on to practice without buying these applications!

Correct. You can use free credits in AWS/Azure to spin up the VM series, the VMs available though Beacon (although last I checked those weren't running the latest PAN-OS versions) or the VM trial that PAN offers. In general, PAN expects you to have been working with PAN already and already have hands-on experience prior to attempting to take this exam.
