Maintenance mode

When we try to access maintenance mode keeping "M" press the device just stop booting and nothing appears on console. Then if I press the M after some seconds just normal boot. We also try typing "maint" but no luck

Physical or Virtual FW?

It is a very fast and at times subtle timing issue.

You should be seeing a prompt that tells you that you need to press (and not hold) the M, to get it into Maint mode.

while the firewall is running normally, log into the CLI as a superuser. Give it the following command:

> debug system maintenance-mode
