Hi

Having a PA820 with valid license and support.

I am looking for official documentation to see if its possible to transfer my valid license to a second hand device purchased online.

I m in Europe, device can be purchased from Europe as well as American continent. The secondhand device is unlikely to have a valid license

Thanks in advance.

@TuncayG,

@TomYoung's information is all absolutely correct. I just wanted to throw out for anyone that may come across this in the future that it's generally not worth purchasing second hand PAN hardware and going through the re-certification process when compared to the cost of just buying new hardware.

I've seen organizations try and use this as a money saving tactic in the past, and by the time you pay to get the device re-certified and pay for support and any license subscriptions you won't save anything. In addition, if the equipment fails any of the verification tests you'll lose the certification fee and still need to either role the dice on another unit, or bite the bullet and buy new hardware.

Thank you. Its seems no other solution. I realize we cannot afford Palo stuff anymore 😞
