topic HA Pair Config Sync issue in General Topics

When we try to manually Sync the Active/Passive. HA Pair has local config sync error. This error is trying to sync the config between the two devices, but it's trying to sync local config (ie. management config) and not policies. I don't believe it should be trying to sync things like management ip's, hostname etc..

I need the expert's advise on this issue. Any helps are highly appreciated.

I usually save my configuration, then export my config from the primary FW.

Then I import the config into the backup FW, and then correct the hostname, the HA configuration, and the mgmt IP.

This ensures I have 100% complete policy configuration, and then I commit on the backup.

Has always worked for me.

Hello,

If this is the first sync, then follow @S.Cantwell advice. I've seen this a few times myself.

Regards,
