Can you verify in your system logs what the events are leading up to that failure, because Heartbeat Backup going down shouldn't cause any issues as long as your HA interfaces are online.

I have noticed my primary Palo Alto 820 HA heartbeat gets disconnected every day at 9 a.m. This causes a 5-minute network outage every morning. suggest what could be the cause.

Hello,

Check the device logs around the same time to see if there is another issue causing the failover. Could be port or path monitoring?

https://knowledgebase.paloaltonetworks.com/KCSArticleDetail?id=kA10g000000ClIbCAK

Maybe support has a better answer?

Regards,
