&lt;P&gt;While the REST API isn't at feature parity with the XML API, you can create address objects through the REST API. Remember that you can always look at the docs from the firewall, or use the example below to go directly to the POST section for creating an address.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also keep in mind that the REST API can't do operational tasks like commit, so you'll still need to utilize the XML API anyways if you want this fully automated.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am trying to run automation block ip on the firewall.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The tutorial i got was for xml api but i want to do it in the rest api.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there a way to register the ip to a DAG using rest api.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your times.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
