Global protect gateway disconnect

hello Everyone,

I am having client who is trying to connect the laptop from office system. VPN is on the laptop, and he can see the file and stuff , but when he is accessing through remote desktop connection to laptop. when it login , Screen lock it up and VPN lost it connection and ping drop its connection. any solution to it. he wanted to access his laptop through remote desktop connection.

any help would be appreciated.

i think if there is any chance that VPN connection would still be on when the system lock itself when rdp try to connect laptop.

If if I understand correctly, the client is attempting to RDP to his laptop from another system while said laptop is connected to the VPN? Do I have that correct?

You can review the PanGPS.log file to see if the client itself is disconnecting when the user attempts to connect like this. Depending on a number of different settings and how they're attempting to do this, there's a couple options that would prevent something like this from actually working. Do you have any control over the GlobalProtect app configuration?
