&lt;P&gt;for both PAN-OS upgrade as well as application updates you need a valid support contract. Palo Alto has Secondary Market Policy for this use case:&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/services/support/support-policies/secondary-market-policy" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/services/support/support-policies/secondary-market-policy&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;however your PA-200 does not qualify for this. At least 2 points are not met:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- PA-200 was end of sale 31st October 2018.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;- Device was not purchased from official secondary market that can issue receipt.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;From my point of view it is not worth to use it for any production environment. I would not consider it for anything else than lab.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Found a PA 200 in the trash</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, i found a PA 200 in the trash, it works fine, is it viable to use it as a firewall. I don't have access to any support at all. Not even a os update of some kind. And is there any way i can get said update. Have a great day.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
